  • Cummins adopts the integrated design of the cylinder block and cylinder head to prevent the engine from cooling water leaking and oil leakage. The parts quantity is about 40% less than other similar engines, so that the failure rate is greatly reduced.
  • The perfect geometric structure prevents oil leakage and uses advanced technology such as new piston ring assembly and gasket crimping to reduce lube oil loss.
  • The Engine is designed with integral wastegate Holset supercharger for low speed response and high horsepower.
  • Complete Rebuildability: Cylinder block has multiple rebore capability and there is only need to insert the salvage sleeve (cylinder liner) or oversize piston for the dry type cylinder block.
  • Cast Iron Skirted Block: With five main bearings for maximum strength and rigidity, low weight and optimum crankshaft support.
  • Direct Injection Fuel System: For thorough mixing of air and fuel to ensure low fuel consumption; the fuel injection pump features advance mechanism for reliable cold starting.
