Cummins QSN EngineQSN855 Engine N14 Celect Fuel System Engine

Cummins QSN Engine is a electronic controlled diesel engine.  It’s a new engine model developed by Chongqing Cummins based on NT855 engine. The QSN series engine is mainly used in construction machineries, heavy duty vehicles, mining trucks, locomotives, generator sets, marine equipments etc.

QSN engines meet China National Stage III and Stage IV emission standard for off-road vehicles.

Robust Power

QSN engine displacement is 14Liters which is same as NT855 engine’s displacement, but QSN engine gets the power performance greatly improved, mainly benificated from the application of Cummins Celect Fuel System and reinforced parts and components.

Better Fuel Versatility

Due to QSN engine use Cummins CELECT fuel system, existing fuel system could meet the requirements of usage.

Lower Emission

While using the Cummins CELECT fuel system, the fuel injection and engine combustion is properly controlled even when the working condition is changing, the engine emission still could meet the National Stage III standard.

Better Cold Start Performance

The QSN engine can meet the cold start requirements in winter without any assistance. With the auxiliary starting device, it meets the usage requirements in firgid regions.

Better Adaptablity in Altitude

Based on the power range, under the condition of not making the power adjustment, the maximum applicable alititude is 4300 meters.

High Universiality od Parts and Components

As the QSN engine is developed from NT855, most parts and components are interchangerable with that of NT855 , excluding the key emission-related parts required to be upgraded.

Better Matching and Succession

Due to no bigger size difference betwwen QSN engine and NT855 engine, and the interface size is also kept consistent with that of customers, product upgrade could be achived easily without making big alternations.
